REACHING THE WORLD
We have missionaries serving in many parts of the world. Here are some of their stories.
Carlos and Migdalia DeJesus - Ministry to Struggling Families
|
Since 2010 Carlos DeJesus and his wife, Migdalia, have been missionaries in the Central Mountains of Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
Amazingly, with joy they reside and serve the community with teams of volunteers in the Old Morris School building that once was abandoned. As they partner with other ministries, they offer free food, clothing, household items, and events to struggling families. It is wonderful to see how that by serving the community they are giving the knowledge of salvation through Jesus Christ to those they serve. Married in 1989, and presently 62 years old they are blessed with 4 children, 2 daughters-in-law and 9 grandchildren. Carlos was formerly a Director of Facilities and Management at Adorers of the Blood of Christ in Columbia, Pa. and Migdalia was a Pediatric Dental Assistant for Dr. Ross in Lancaster, Pa. They are of bilingual Puerto Rican heritage. More of their life journey is available on their website: https://www.godsclearview.org |
Esther Esche - Missionary to the Middle Eastern Peoples
|
After spending many years in Israel, Esther is back in the United States waiting for the next adventure in this calling the Lord has given her. Her passion is to work with Women from the Middle East and she dreams of continuing SHINE Women's Empowerment courses as well as discipling women and young people. No matter where the Lord may lead her, whether in the Middle East, or from Europe or another place, her heart is for the Middle East peoples.
Esther enjoys a good coffee, hanging out with friends and family, and has a hobby of painting with water colors. |
